Autocad DXF Files to GeoGraphix. CDF Layer Version 2000
This full Windows XP tool converts LINE, POLYLINE, and
TEXT entities from Autocad DXF File Layers into CDF files for input into GeoGraphix.. The
tool will convert Autocad 12, 13, 14, 2000, 2001, etc. and Autocad Lite POLYLINES AND LWPOLYLINES. Alignment
of Text is preserved as well as whether the POLYLINES are open or closed.
The tool allows for the separate conversion of TEXT, LINES, and POLYLINES to separate
layers or a single layer. The entities can have appropriate Geographix entity codes
assigned to separate layers. The assignment sets may be saved as session reminder records
for future use.
In Version 2000, the entity codes may be specified in such a manner that polygon layers may be color-filled automatically en masse in the new Geographix GES Discovery GeoAtlas.
Lease Boundary and Tract Boundary entity codes may be used to load polygon layers into GES97 Leasemap or GES Explorer GeoAtlas for automated polygon color-filling.
Support for "layers-not-specified" (not fully DXF compliant) now allows for many files that could not previously be read.
New Feature: The tool now allows for
coordinate shifting, rotation, and scaling as optional processes.
