Lease Discovery© Subscription Database allows the client to produce Excel information
spreadsheets and other map-ready data of BLM Land Ownership of Oil and Gas, Right of Way,
and Coal leases, participatory areas, and units. Outputs include Excel CSV Files, and EXP-style files for land ownership analysis and land ownership mapping. The client can query the Lease Discovery© Subscription Database by location to create the output data. |
Complete Serial Register Pages can be determined, displayed, and printed. The client can specify whether open or closed cases can chosen and employed.
The location data contains both BLM Legal descriptions and Lot-Tract aliquot replacements for mapping. No additional tools are required to replace Lots and Tracts with map-ready quarter-quarter (aliquot) map-oriented descriptions.
The data have expiration dates, effective dates, BLM ownership interest, and lease holder interest. Case types, commodity types, lease holder type, amount bid, lease holder address, state, county and other information is supplied.
Land Record Lease Discovery© Subscription Databases are available for most western states. The client can subscribe on an introductory basis for as low a time period as 3 months. In addition, Infopipe also offers data on a longer-term contract basis when requested.
Our tools and databases are the most direct method to produce ownership information for analysis and land ownership mapping.
The output data is immediately useful in Infopipe’s OwnerImage© Builder and other land ownership mapping tools.

The tool allows for areal and serial number queries to search for open and closed Oil and Gase BLM Cases. The area can be defined by a rectangle and specific selections can be made within the rectangle.
Any case can be selected and the client can elect to produce a Serial Register Page to print, to output as an MS Excel file, or a MS Word file.
The tool uses a "shopping cart" concept that allows for the client to select specific cases to placed in the cart.
Data may be filtered by Customer, Open/Closed Cases, Case Types, and Location Information.
The cart can be used to produce an MS Excel-readable CSV file (for direct input into Infopipe's OwnerImage Builder) or EXP-style files for input into EXP-compatible applications (such as Infopipe's OwnerImage Builder). In addition the tool outputs Geographix Leasemap Excel Import Files. The client can elect to have Lots and Tracts replaced (within the tool) with Aliquot (quarter-quarter) calls from the BLM's Legal Land Description Database. If lots and tracts cannot be replaced (because of missing BLM data), then a report can be produced to tell you what will not map unless the lots and tracts are replaced with Aliquots.
